Full Time

This is a twelve-month program, starting on October 1st and ending on September 30th of the following year. In order to be awarded the LL.M. degree (75 ECTS overall), students are required to attend successfully eight (8) courses, i.e. one (1) compulsory course and three (3) elective courses in the winter semester, and similarly one (1) compulsory course and three (3) elective courses in the spring semester. They are also required to submit a post-graduate thesis of 15.000 to 18.000 words.

The overall structure of the programme is the following:

1st semester (Total ECTS points 30)

  • Principles of EU Economic Law (7,5 ECTS)

Elective Courses

  • EU Banking and Finance Law (7,5 ECTS)
  • Law and Economics (7,5 ECTS)
  • EU Intellectual Property Law (7,5 ECTS)
  • EU Data Protection and ICT Law (7,5 ECTS)
  • EU Trade and Investment Law and Policy (7,5 ECTS)
  • European Labour Law (7,5 ECTS)

2nd semester (Total ECTS 30)
[One compulsory (C) course. Students choose three (3) elective (Ε) courses. Some of the elective courses listed below might not be offered from time to time]

Compulsory Course

  • Competition and State Aid Law (7,5 ECTS)

Elective Courses

  • Public Procurement Law (7,5 ECTS)
  • Digital Network Transactions and EU Law (7,5 ECTS)
  • EU Law and International Business Transactions (7,5 ECTS)
  • International and European Procedural Law (7,5 ECTS)
  • Energy Law and Sustainable Development (7,5 ECTS)
  • European Economic Criminal Law (7,5 ECTS)

Summer Season (Total ECTS 15)

  • Postgraduate Thesis  (15 ECTS)

Upon approval of the Faculty, employed students may study part-time and complete the course in twenty four (24) months.
