The Department of Biomedical Sciences, School of Health Sciences, International Hellenic University, announces the opening of fifty (50) postgraduate student positions for the 2nd cycle of studies of the academic year 2026–2027 in the Postgraduate Program:

"INNOVATIVE APPROACHES IN CLINICAL MICROBIOLOGY AND INFECTOMICS"

Scope and Objectives of the Program:

This postgraduate program focuses on education, research, and hands-on training in Biomedical and Molecular Sciences, with a strong emphasis on the diagnosis of infectious diseases. Its primary objective is to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical expertise in state-of-the-art techniques and methodologies used in the detection, diagnosis, and management of infections. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the program aims to foster both scientific excellence and professional development, preparing graduates for careers in clinical, research, and healthcare settings.

Eligible Applicants:

The program is open to graduates from a wide range of disciplines, including Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Veterinary Medicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Agriculture, Geology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Polytechnic Schools, Economics and Management Sciences, Informatics, Nutrition, and Aesthetics-Cosmetology. Eligible candidates must hold a degree from Greek Universities, former Technological Educational Institutes (TEIs), accredited foreign institutions, or relevant Military Academies.

Additionally, final-year undergraduate students who are expected to successfully complete their studies by the end of the September 2026 examination period are also eligible to apply.

Duration of Studies:

The program spans a total of three (3) academic semesters, comprising two semesters of coursework followed by one semester dedicated to the completion of the Master’s thesis.

Tuition Fees:

The tuition fee is 3900 euros in total, payable in two (2) installments (€2000 with registration and €1900 in February).
