The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace (ECEDUTH), in cooperation with the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Schools of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Naval Mechanical Engineering, call for admission applications for the Postgraduate (M.Sc.) program entitled: “Technological and Management Advances on Intelligent Transportation Electrification Systems”.
Eligible candidates may be:
1. Graduates of Engineering Schools or Departments in Electrical and Computer Engineering, in Computer Engineering and Informatics, as well as any other relevant specialty.
2. Graduates of University Departments of Physics, Mathematics, Environmental or Energy Studies, as well as any other relevant specialty.
3. Graduates of Departments of Informatics or Information Sciences.
4. Graduates of Army Schools.
The graduates of the Postgraduate (M.Sc.) program will receive a Diploma of Postgraduates Studies (M.Sc.) in «Technological and Management Advances on Intelligent Transportation Electrification Systems».
Period for applications for admission: Thursday, April 30th, 2026, until Friday September 25th, 2026.
Final deadline for applications is Friday, September 25th, 2026, at 14:00 (UTC+2 EET).
Courses will be conducted through the (synchronous – asynchronous) distance learning system of Democritus University of Thrace.
Maximum number of students: Fifty (50). Minimum number of students: Six (6).
To receive the M.Sc. degree students must successfully complete eight (8) courses and write a Master’s thesis.

2) Copy of Diploma or Bachelor degree.
3) Transcript of undergraduate courses and degrees.
4) Curriculum Vitae (CV)
5) If candidates have any professional experience in areas relevant to the M.Sc. program’s objective, they can also submit any document certifying this experience.
6) If candidates have any research experience, they can submit copies of their published papers.
7) Two (at least) letters of recommendation.
8) Copies of other M.Sc. or Ph.D. degrees, if any.
9) Any other document that will contribute to their evaluation.
Applicants who do not hold a foreign language certificate (level B2 or higher) they will have an internal online examination in English language on Friday, October 2nd , 2026.
Exempted from the above examination are those candidates who hold a State Certificate of language level (B2 or higher) or an equivalent certificate. Graduates of foreign Universities, in which the courses are taught in English, are also exempted from the internal examination.
Candidates who do not have an exemption from the foreign language and fail to join the internal examination will be excluded from the selection process.
Eligible candidates will be interviewed on Friday, October 9th , 2026.
Tuition Fees: 1,500.0 € per Semester (4,500.0 € in total)
The period of the registration process and the payment of the first instalment of the tuition fees is set between Monday, October 12th 2026 and Friday, October 23rd 2026.
Courses start on: Monday, November 2nd, 2026.
