During the academic year 2024-2025, the Law School of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens will offer an intensive LL.M. Programme in International & European Law. Interested candidates are invited to submit their application as follows:
Description
The LL.M. Programme in International and European Law provides students with an indepth understanding of International and European Union Law in both their theoretical and practical aspects and leads to a postgraduate degree with a specialization in:
a) Public International Law, or
b) European Union Law
The coursework is divided into two semesters (winter and spring), and students are obliged to submit a dissertation by 30 September 2025.
Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for admission, prospective students must:
a) Hold a first Degree in Law from a Greek or Foreign Higher Educational Institute which belongs to Hellenic NARIC registers (https://www.doatap.gr/home_english/) Non-Law degrees may be exceptionally accepted, if the Steering Committee is satisfied that they included coursework in relevant subjects. Students expected to graduate by the end of the current academic year 2023-2024 are also eligible to apply.
b) Hold at least a C1 level certificate in English. Candidates with a degree entirely taught in English are exempted. Knowledge of additional languages is encouraged and taken into consideration.
Selection procedure
A maximum of twenty-five students per specialization will be admitted. The Admissions Committee will assess the applications on the basis of each candidate’s academic merits. Prospective students will be invited to an interview in person or virtually. Only candidates who meet the admission requirements will be invited to the interview.
Tuition fees
The tuition fee amounts to €4800.
