Information for application to the Postgraduate Programs of the Physics Department, University of Crete, for the academic year 2024-2025
The Department of Physics of the University of Crete announces that it is accepting applications for the admission of students for the academic year 2024-2025, to the Department's Postgraduate Programs:
The deadline for submitting applications, and all supporting documents, is July 15, 2024. The Postgraduate Programs cover a wide range of topics in fundamental Physics and cutting edge interdisciplinary areas. The Programs aim to attract excellent, highly motivated students interested to specialize in topics of modern Physics, and equip them for a dynamic career in physics research and its applications.
Submission of application and supporting documents
The application and supporting documents can only be submitted online through the website: https://postgrad.cict.uoc.gr
Candidates should (a) create a user account, (b) edit their application, filling in the corresponding fields on the website and uploading the necessary files, and (c) make the final submission, before the deadline of July the 15th, 2024.
The M.S. courses are taught in English and the M.S. Thesis is required to be written in English.

The maximum number of admissions to the Master's Program "Advanced Physics" is twenty (20). Also, the maximum number of admissions to the Master's Program "Photonics and Nanoelectronics" is twenty (20).
The Master's Program "Advanced Physics" and "Photonics and Nanoelectronics" of the Department of Physics have no tuition fees.
The candidates will be informed by the Graduate Studies Secretariat on the outcome of the evaluation of applications, in early August 2024.
