The research group of Neurogenetics and Aging of IMBB in collaboration with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. under the Program entitled: “Mechanisms of age-related protein misfolding neurodegerative diseases in Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans)” (Program Coordinator, Prof. N.Tavernarakis) invites applications for one (1) Postdoctoral Researcher position.
Position Description: Genetic and molecular investigation of the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying aging and proteinopathies.
Qualifications: PhD in Biology / Biochemistry, documented experience in Biochemical assays and collective expertise in nematodes genetics, at least 3 high impact factor publications, fluency in English. Contract Duration: 24 months, renewable based on the program's needs Total budget: ~ 2.330,00 € cost per month depending on working experience
Estimated starting date: March 1, 2021
Application submission: Interested candidates should submit their application electronically by January 20, 2021 @ 12:00 (GMT+2).

- The names of two referees
Evaluation procedure: Applications will be evaluated by a three-member evaluation committee. In case of interview procedure, candidates will be invited to participate in person or teleconference.
The announcement of the results will be posted on the website of FORTH-IMBB.
This publication confers the right to object to the results within 5 working days of the date of the results announcement.
The selected candidates will be notified personally regarding the success of his/her application and will be requested to submit certified copies of his/her degrees. In the event that the documents submitted to not agree with the original application, the candidate will be dismissed.
