CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Departments of English Language and Literature, Philology, and Russian Language and Literature & Slavic Studies invite applications to the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Programme "Translation: Greek, English, Russian", whose courses begin on 12 October 2026. The programme has a duration of three academic semesters and attendance is compulsory. Successful completion leads to a Master of Arts (MA) in Translation: Greek, English, Russian.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Eligible Candidates
The following candidates are eligible for admission:
Proficiency certificates (C1 level or above) are required in all three working languages (Greek, English, Russian); native speakers do not need to certify their native language.
Selection Criteria
For the 2026-2028 cycle, evaluation is based on the application portfolio (50% of the total marks) and an oral interview (50% of the total marks). Selection follows Law 4957/2022 and the Programme's Regulation.

• Identity document (scan).
• BA degree or certificate of completion of studies.
• Copies of any other academic qualifications.
• Full transcript of undergraduate grades.
• Certificates of language proficiency at C1 level or above in Greek, English and Russian; native speαkers do not need to certify their native language.
• Evidence of professional or research activity (if any).
• Academic publications, research papers (if any).
Letter of Recommendation
One (1) letter of recommendation, preferably from a university instructor or supervisor. The candidate is responsible for forwarding the reference letter form to the referee, who submits it directly with a digital signature: here
